Spray your plant gently with clear tepid water either using a spray bottle or the bathroom shower indoors, or a spray bottle or hose outdoors. This will knock insects off and wash away any sticky honeydew. Be sure to rinse the undersides of the leaves as well at the tops. You may have to do this every 4-7 days to be sure to get all the infestation. If your plants roots will not tolerate this much water you can cover the soil with plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
